Step 1.

Begin by making two shapes, one for the head guide and another for the body guide. Sketch in the facial guidelines for Cindy Lou Whos face as well.

Step 2.

Here you will form the shape of Cindy Lou's head by drawing the hairstyle of a little girl. This should be a short, straight style with ends that curl up a bit. The bangs should be uneven but full.

Step 3.

Now you can draw in the shape of Cindy Lou's face. This is a simple shape which helps her look innocent. Using the facial guidelines draw in her great big eyes followed by the nose and sweet smile. Also draw the shape of her neck after you add the lo

Step 4.

Step 5.

Cindy Lou Who wears a one piece nightgown that is very form fitting as it reaches the lower part of her body. Draw the shape of her body which is also the nightgown, then add the arm, hand and ruffle around the neck.

Description: Since Christmas is exactly two weeks away, I thought a tutorial on one of my favorite characters from 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' would be something that everyone can enjoy because I know she is adorable. Here is "how to draw Cindy Lou Who", step by step. Cindy Lou is probably one of the sweetest cartoon creations ever created. She has that doe eyed look followed by an innocence that can be seen a mile away. Cindy Lou Who is also responsible for Grinch's heart turning into mush because of her saddened look on her face when she catches Grinch stealing Christmas. I love the traditional cartoon which airs on television as a Christmas special. Enjoy this tut folks and let the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts with love and joy.
