Start off with a simple circle for the head and then draw in the facial guidelines.

Now you will use the facial guidelines to draw out Sonic's eye shapes. When that is done draw the line connecting the two eyes. This is for the separation of the nose and head.

Here you will finish the eyes by drawing in the pupils. When that is complete you can draw the shape of the nose too.

We will now define the shape of Sonic's face like so and then give him his sly grin.

Go ahead and draw the shape of the head which also forms the hair or fur or whatever it is that hedgehogs have.

Lastly, draw in Sonic's ears and then you can start cleaning up the drawing by erasing the mistakes and all the guides.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can have a blast adding color to Sonic. Don't forget to catch the full length life like film called Sonic the Hedgehog.

Description: I'm sure everyone has heard about the new Sonic movie that is out or is coming out soon. Since I love Sonic I figured I would make a lesson that would show kids how to draw Sonic for kids, step by step. This is a very simple lesson, so simple in fact anyone can tackle it. I have so many tutorials on Sonic the Hedgehog finding something new to say about him become more difficult. Anyways, have fun with this tut. I hope you enjoy it.
