Mutant Bat Drawing Tutorial

Begin by making the simple guidelines for the neck and jaw like you see here. Once that is done you can draw the head shape.
2
Using the guides that you just made, go ahead and draw in the forehead, snout and then the wide open mouth.

Still keeping with drawing the monster bat's face, you will draw in the massive bat ear, then draw in the eye, nostril arch and then add detailing to the ear. Also, draw the stretched dimple at the corner of the mouth too.

I wanted to add some hair to this bat's head or design, so go ahead and draw the prickly looking hair strands. When you are done with that you can draw the other ear shape too.

Description: One of the scariest monsters or animals around the Halloween season has got to be the bat. I happen to love bats, I think they are incredibly interesting animals. The whole idea that they are blind and use sonic pulses to see is amazing. A couple of my favorite bats are the Fruit bats and Vampire Bats. Today this lesson is also going to be festive for the Halloween season. We will be drawing a mutant style bat creature with a monsterous mouth and a full set of monster style teeth. I love the way this concept came out and I'm sure that most of you will enjoy drawing this bat as well because it is a concept that is exciting to recreate. If you are newbie with drawing you can still tackle the task. Although you may find some bumps in the road, but if you pull through I know you can do it. Anyways, that is all I have to say. Stay tuned in to see what pops up next. You won't be disappointed with the art I have in store for you.
