1

Make the guide for the head/face first, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

You will now use the guideline you just made to draw the structure of Putin's face. Be sure to add the indents to the cheeks or sides of his face. You will also need to draw in the hairline as well.

3

We will finish the hairstyle which also forms the shape of the head in better definition. Once that is done you can draw in the ears and add detailing to them as well.

4

We will utilize the facial guidelines and draw the thick eyebrows. Don't color them in at this point, let's finish the face first. Draw the shapes of the eyes or upper eyelids and then add some wrinkle creases at the corners of the eyes.

5

Finish Putin's eyes and add definition under them. When that is done you can draw the nose, and mouth which is basically a simple line and a bottom lip.

6

Let us finish off this tutorial by drawing the shape of his neck, the shoulders and then the detailing for the jacket he is wearing. When you're done you can erase the mistakes and all the guides.

7

Here is the line art. Color Putin in and show people what president you know how to draw even if he is not the one of your country.

Description: This is not a lesson on a musician, but it is on a figure that has been in the news for quite some time. Today I will turn my attention to Russian President, Vladimir Putin. There are a few lessons on the internet based on drawing Putin, but I have not yet seen one that is easy to replicate or even good enough to even want to spend the time on. This version of Putin is very clean, which means he will be an easy face to recreate. This Russian President has gotten much negative publicity, but you can never believe what you hear or read from today's media. Anyways, have fun with drawing Vladimir Putin, I will be back with other tuts so stay put.
