Step 1.
Make three circles, one for the head, the other for the body, and the third for the back end of the dog.

Step 2.
Sketch out the top part of the head which includes the half perky ears which are also very scruffy looking. When that is done draw out the long snout with a rounded tip.

Step 3.
Using the guideline you drew in step one, begin drawing out the large round eyes. His expression is very relaxed. Make lids and then draw in eyeballs, eyebrows, and then draw in the inner detailing for the ear. You will then draw out the nose too.

Step 4.
Now you will start sketching out the scruffy body starting with the hairy neck, and then the body. Don't forget to draw in the dog collar and tag too.

Step 5.
Look how far you are coming. All you have to do here is draw out the front legs and round paws. When that is done draw the chest, and sunken in belly as well as the thigh.

Step 7.
For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the marking line that separates the two tones coat color. When that's done, sketch in the toe lines, and the hair feathering on the back and tail. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in s
tep one to clean up your work.

Here is what the dog looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him in and that's it. You have now learned how to draw Lucky from Pound Puppies.

Description:
There isn’t many things I can say about this character from a series that started airing on The Hub since 2010. The show is called Pound Puppies, and like My Little Pony these pups started out as being plush toys in the eighties from Hasbro. Today, you can enjoy watching an animated series that includes some fun loving pooches that bring both smiles and laughs. Today I will be teaching you "how to draw Lucky", step by step. He is a scruffy looking dog that happens to be the main character and alpha dog of the pack. Like all dogs in charge, he has a kind heart but a firm voice. I mean, you have to be firm if you’re going to lay down the rules to keep all the other dogs in line. I think that he is a fun animal to draw, and I know he may not be a popular figure here on Dragoart to tackle as a lesson, I just thought that doing a character from Pound Puppies would fill a need for some fans that enjoy the show. Thanks for joining me guys, and remember there is still two more tutorials on the way.
