Step 1.
You will be drawing three different types of dogs, but don't worry they will all be easy. Start with three circles for the heads and then add the facial guideline in each one.

Step 2.
Here you will begin sketching out the actual shapes of the dogs heads and faces. Take your time and follow each one separately.

Now you will draw in all of their cute little noses, as well as their mouths. When that is done you can add some detailing to the chihuahua's ears.

For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw in the eyes, color in the pupils, and then draw in the brows. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6.
Here is what your doggies look like when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color them in and even draw some simple bodies. I hope you had fun, and I also hope you learned something new.

Description:
Hello one and all and welcome to my world of drawing tutorials. Today I am going to fill a request that came in last week for me to do a lesson on "how to draw dogs for kids" in the form of a simple cartoon like chihuahua. Not only are these dogs incredibly popular, they also come in many sizes, shapes, and texture. When I say texture I mean you can get a chihuahua that has either long, or short hair. Drawing a dog can be easy if you learn from a really good tutorial, or the whole process can be almost impossible if you are just trying to make a dog from scratch without any aid at all. I think this tutorial will prove to be helpful for all novice artists, and fun for all other artists to tackle. When you want to learn "how to draw dogs for kids", step by step, this is the only lesson you will ever need to follow. Have fun and be sure to stick around because there is more coming your way.
