How to Draw Leonard from The Angry Birds Movie

Step 1.


Begin by drawing two shapes. One for the head and another for the body. As you can see the body shape is like a bulb. Sketch in the facial guidelines too.

Step 2.


Next, define the shape of Leonard's face and leave spaces on the top for where his eyebrows will go.

Step 3.


We will work on the face by drawing the pig nose and color in the nostrils. When that is done you can draw the eyes and eyebrows. Next, draw the hair on top of the head and then draw in the mouth, teeth and tongue.

Step 4.


Up next, draw in the beard which frames the outline of the face. When that is done you can move to step five.

Step 5.


Lastly, draw Leonard's body which is just a big round mass. Add the arms and clawed fingers followed by the legs and feet. Erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 6.


Here is the line art folks. Just color in Leonard from The Angry Birds Movie and you are all done.

Description: I don't know how many people know yet, but there is an Angry Birds movie set to be in theaters May 20th of this year. The characters I will be uploading are all from the film, and it's going to be called 'The Angry Birds Movie'. Today I will upload some of the characters that I know of starting with this one on how to draw Leonard, step by step. Leonard is the hog or pig that makes his entrance to Bird Island in a big way.I don't know a whole lot about his role, or any of the other roles for the characters because they are not disclosed as of yet. I know that he is voiced by actor Bill Hader from Saturday Night Live which means he should be pretty funny on screen. Anyways, go ahead and have fun drawing Leonard from The Angry Birds Movie and I will be back with the rest of the characters from Bird Island.
