How to Draw a Bird Nest

Step 1.


Start the first step by drawing the actual shape or structure to the next. The sprigs hanging off the sides is loose straw or twigs which is as you know what birds use to build their nests among other things.

Step 2.


Add more sprigs around the front of the nest like so.

Step 3.


Before you start drawing your eggs, remember that you can dictate what size eggs you want in your nest. I chose regular sized Easter eggs, but you can go with smaller ones.

Step 4.


If there are mistakes you can go ahead and erase those now. Otherwise, go ahead and decorate your eggs for Easter, or speckle them up to look like one of your favorite bird specie egg.

Step 5.


That's it, here is the line art. Now you can color in your bird nest and eggs.

Description: Okay folks, so I will let you know that I have more Easter related lessons that could also be colored in to be whatever you want. For an example, in this tut I wanted to show you how to draw a birds nest, step by step. But instead of having your traditional colored white eggs, I turned them into Easter eggs. You can choose to color your eggs to look like they belong to a Robin or even a sparrow. Anyways, have fun drawing a bird nest. I do have about five more lessons to upload so try and stick around to see what they are.
