How to Draw Red from The Angry Birds Movie

Step 1.


Make the one shape for the body of Red and then add the guidelines for the face and legs.

Step 2.


Using the guide begin drawing the actual body shape. You will need to incorporate the the left arm which is a wing. Add the feathers for the top of the head and then proceed to step three.

Step 3.


Draw in the feet and then draw the other arm/wing. Detail the tuft of feathers on the head as well.

Step 4.


Next, draw the thick, square eyebrows like so and proceed to step five.

Step 5.


Lastly, draw in the shapes of the eyes, his beak and then the marking line on the belly. Erase the mistakes and all the guides too.

Step 6.


Here is Red when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color him in to bring this bird to life.

Description: This is a much more recognizable face because not only is this character the main bird from the video game 'Angry Birds', he is also one of the main characters from 'The Angry Birds Movie'. Up next we will be learning how to draw Red, step by step. It's weird to see Red in a full bodied concept because we are so used to seeing him as a bird condensed into a ball. Anyways, I do love the design concept the creators came up with for Red. Not only is it going to be super simple to draw Red, you will have an exciting time tackling the task as well. Anyways, I want to get the other characters uploaded along with some of the anime figures that were also requested so enjoy this tut for now.
