Birds on a Wire Drawing

We will draw out the poles first. These poles can be electric lines or phone lines. Color them in so they look like silhouettes.

We will now draw in a transformer and antenna on one side and some clouds on the right side. Don't forget the lines.

We will draw in the electric lines here and make them all clumped together so they are nice and thick.

Lastly, you will fill the wires and sky with birds. No matter if they are in flight, flapping their wings or just chillin' out.

Here is the line art folks. Color in the birds and show off the artwork.

Description: Here is an interesting concept that came to me while listening to Johnny Cash's song "Bird on a Wire'. When I was listening to it I immediately thought of a concept for a lesson that will show you how to draw birds on a wire, step by step. I have also seen birds sitting on a wire as a tattoo concept as well. This drawing design is much more dark and descriptive. Just the scenery alone screams despair. I had so much fun with this tut, I know you will enjoy it as well. Thanks guys, let me know what you think of birds on a wire.
