Step 1.

Let's begin. Start with a simple circle and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Using the guide you just made go ahead and draw out the shape and structure of Godzilla's face.

Using the guidelines draw out the thick brows, then the shapes of the eyes followed by the detailing on the forehead.

We will now draw in Godzilla's nose and mouth as well as the definition around. Don't forget to add the nostrils.

When the drawing is all cleaned up, your Godzilla should look like the one you see here. Now just add some color.

Description: Okay, are you ready for a cartoon/animated version of that dinosaur that we all know and love. Today I will be showing you how to draw Godzilla for beginners, step by step. Godzilla is one of those monsters from Creature Double Feature that I grew up watching reruns on. My parents actually grew up watching the new episodes that aired every Saturday morning and they sort of introduced Godzilla to me when I was little. Anyways, I guess you can say I grew up in a very old school type of household which I loved. I do think you will fall in love with this lesson because I put a twist of animation with the art. I will return with more fun so stick around to see what else I have in store.
