How to Draw Rodan

Like always the first step you will draw the guides and shapes for Rodan. Start with a shape for the head and then the body guide. End this step by drawing the guidelines for the wings and face.

Okay, so here you will draw the top portion of Rodan's head followed by the horns.

Go ahead and draw the rest of the face shape which should include the beak or mouth and then the structure of the jaw.

Add the detailing to the beak and then draw the long shaped eye. You will also add detailing inside the mouth and draw in a tongue. Don't forget the definition to the horns too.

We will tackle the body next. Draw the shape which almost looks like a nightgown.

Go ahead and draw in the legs and feet followed by the clawed toes.

All you have to do next is draw the large wings and don't forget to add some texture to them as well. Erase the mistakes if you made any and the guides.

Description: Hey there guys. Once again I return and with my return I bring awesomeness in the form of art. I found out a couple days ago that a new Godzilla movie is coming out and this time around some of the more old school prehistoric type of creatures are following his return. One of the more creatures I am excited about that is making a its way to the big screen again is Rodan. I LOVED Rodan when I used to watch the old Godzilla shows from the 80s. This lesson is going to show you how to draw Rodan, step by step in a fun chibi style. I decided to do a chibi version of Rodan so everyone can have a shot at drawing this awesome creature from the Godzilla shows. I love how he came out and even though Rodan from Godzilla is pretty mean, I think my version of chibi Rodan is just as badass. Anyways, go ahead and give this lesson a shot. I do have ore to upload I just have to make steps first. Adios amigos and don't forget, Godzilla King of the Monsters will be in theaters soon so keep an eye out for it.
