How to Draw Dragon Rarity

Let us begin by drawing the circle for the head, then sketch out the odd shape for the body. You will then add a neck and facial guideline.

Using the circle, draw the form of the forehead, then draw in the well defined snout and jawline. Notice the lining for the mouth is pointed.

After you are done with step two, you will draw the lining to form the chest, then draw the front legs and paws. The toes are pointed and thick.

Here you will draw the swirl for the mane and make sure that the hair curls at the end.

Draw the back of the neck, then begin drawing the first wing. Add detailing to the wing, then you can proceed to step six.

Draw more of the hair which also shapes out the head. Add detailing to her hair by adding some hair strands, and then draw in a hint of the other wing.

Next, this step is very simple because all you have to do is draw out the eye. The top lid should be bold or dark, and there should be a nostril hole.

Almost done with drawing dragon Rarity folks. Draw the back and butt end, then draw the though and tail. Notice how the tail is long and curled.

Add the diamonds on the hip for the cutie mark, then you can erase your mistakes.

Here is what the drawing looks like when you are done. Now you can color in this drawing and show folks what Rarity looks like as a dragon.

Description: I wasn't really sure what to do with this concept on creating a dragon version of Rarity from My Little Pony. After trying out various concepts, I chose to go ahead and make a real refined version of how Rarity handles herself. So here is "how to draw dragon Rarity", step by step. After looking at the results I thought the final creation of this dragon MLP came out pretty good. If you have been liking the lessons on the wolf and dragon versions of your favorite My Little Pony characters, I think you will enjoy this one as well.
