How to Draw Chespin, Pokemon X and Y

Step 1.

Start by drawing two circles, one for the head and the other for the body. End the step by sketching in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

Draw the round shape of the head in better detail, then draw in the slender ears.

Step 3.

Next, draw the lid or seam line for the hood like mass on Chespin's head which also frames the face. Sketch the puffy looking tuft at the top of the head, then make some small stud like shapes from the sides of the head like so.

Step 4.

You will now draw the markings on the face starting with the forehead, and cheeks. When that is done you can color in the eyes, draw the nose and finish off the step by drawing out the mouth, tongue and tooth.

Step 5.

Next up, draw the flipper like arms as well as the small dash like lines for the fingers.

Step 6.

We will be completing this tutorial by drawing the body, legs, feet, and tail. Draw the nail like toes, and add the marking on the belly and tail tip. Erase your mistakes then you're done.

Step 7.

Here is the new Pokemon from X & Y. Color in your drawing to bring him to life. Chespin is going to be cool.

Description: Here is the last Pokemon from X & Y that I will be submitting today. This is the third starter Pokemon that is still very new to the Pokédex. Let's learn "how to draw Chespin,", step by step. Now Chespin is actually a grass type that isn't created from a form of reptile. Instead he looks more like a mole or some other land dwelling creature. Chespin is mainly brown and tan in color, with a green colored hood, back, and orange tipped tail. He is fairly simple to replicate which means you should have no problem drawing Chespin at all. I keep saying “him” because as of right now more than eighty percent of Chespin caught are male. Anyways, I am not one hundred percent on the information I give you so please take what I say with a grain of salt. For now you can tackle the tutorial, and just have fun drawing a new Pokemon species from Pokemon X & Y. I will be back in a bit so try to stick around. Adios people.
