Start off with a circle for the moon shape.

Up next, begin sketching out the skull face which is positioned to the left. When you draw in this face make sure it looks melted or droopy. Blend in some detail lining under the face as well.

Up next, you will surround the moon with large and small pine tress or just trees in general. When that is done you can erase whatever mistakes you might have made.

Color in the tress solid before calling this drawing complete.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in your blood moon before you show it to someone else.

Description: Once in a while I will get inspired to make a drawing that I didn't even anticipate to come out looking so good. Today, we will be learning how to draw a blood moon, step by step. I can not tell you how much I love how this drawing concept came out. It's not too often that a moon concept can look so cool. The best part about this lesson is it's going to be super simple to replicate. So go ahead and have fun drawing a blood moon and I will be back soon.
