How to Draw Dragon Applejack

The first thing we will need to draw is the guides for dragon Applejack. Start with a small circle for the head, a larger shape for her torso, then add the butt end. You will also need to draw in the limb, tail and neck guides.

Up next, draw the snout for the dragon, the jaw line and some of the facial structure.

You can now add the puffy bangs for her mane, then draw in a horn like shape for the ear.

Since this is a dragon Applejack, she has to keep some of her characteristics like the cowboy hat. You will now draw in the long ponytail mane, then tie the end of her ponytail mane.

Add detailing to her mane, then a snout nostril hole.

Next up, draw in her eye and make sure to color in the pupil.

Here you will draw the front part of Applejack's neck, then draw in her chest, front legs and talon like paws or feet.

Instead of drawing more of her body, you will need to draw the dragon wings.

On an angle, draw the stomach, hind leg and foot, then some of the hidden leg.

Almost done people. All you have to do here is give dragon Applejack a long thick tail.

Don't forget her cutie mark on the thigh, then erase all your mistakes and guides.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in your dragon to perfection to bring the Applejack out of the beast and to life.

Description: I didn't want to make any more dragon lessons based on My Little Pony ponies unless folks requested them. Having said that, as you guessed, more then four people asked me to make tutorials on two ponies from MLP and here is the first of the two. Up next, we will learn "how to draw dragon Applejack", step by step. So many people love Applejack and I think it's because of her spunky, outspoken personality. My little sister loves Applejack and when she seen this lesson on drawing a dragon version of Applejack she totally flipped. So I hope your expression is as exciting as my sisters.
