Description: Here is another car that I know some of you will recognize. It's a vehicle that was very popular back in the 70s and 80s and nowadays I have been seeing lots more of this car around. So having said that, here is how to draw an El Camino, step by step. An interesting story follows the history of the El Camino. Back in the 1930's a farmer wrote to the Ford Australia company asking to make a car that would be good to go to church with on Sundays and also be used for farming needs on regular days. As a result the first utility coupé was created. Over the past almost thirty years cars have been developed but it wasn't until the release of Ford's 1957 Rancho that the Chevrolet El Camino was born. The El Camino was a utility coupé which means it had the luxury of a car, but also had a truck like bed in the back for storage or whatever else a folk needed to use these vehicles for. The production of the El Camino went from 1959-1960 and then from 1964-1987. The last real El Camino was produced in 1988, and since the line was stopped quietly, speculators think that the 420 El Caminos and 325 GMC Cabelleros are part of the secret 1988 line. Anyways, this lesson is going to show you how to draw an El Camino and while you tackle this lesson I will prepare the rest of the tuts for you all. Have fun and enjoy drawing another car from the past.
