How to Draw a Valentine Puppy

Step 1.


First, start with the basic guidelines for the puppy's body frame. Take your time with this step because the future lines will be based on these guides. Try not to draw them too harshly on your paper so it does not leave any pencil marks when you era   

Step 2.


Next, draw the face shape as well as the flopped ears for the puppy. Don't stress too much with this step. I started drawing this puppy starting with the lower face shape first and then worked my way up to the ears.

Step 3.


Then, draw two circles with other circles inside of them. This will be the eye shape and the iris.

Step 4.


Carefully draw in the pupils as well for both eyes.

Step 5.


Let's then move onto drawing the shape of the snout and then draw the nose and mouth which sit inside the mouth area.

Step 6.


Next, draw the paws perched on top of the beginning stages of the heart he's latched to.

Step 7.


Then, finish the shape of the heart and work your way to sketch the legs and feet as well as the cute little tail.

Step 8.


Once you've revised your draft of the puppy drawing, you should have ended up with something like this. To further the process, go ahead and ink your drawing out if you're completely satisfied with your sketch. Hopefully you guys liked this tut!

In this tutorial, I will breakdown in simple to draw steps 'how to draw a Valentine' Day Puppy'. I drew this pup holding a heart and colored it in an assortment of ranged pink hues. Once you've drawn this cutesy little pup, you can color him/her in any way you wish.
