Step 1.

Start by drawing a stake like shape for the center of her heart which is also the center bone of your rib cage called the 'sternum'.

Step 2.

You will now sketch out the rugged shape of the sternum. I say rough because the edges should be rough lined.

Step 3.

Here you will sketch out each individual vertebra to the sternum bone. Sketch in the detailing as well as the dimples along the sides of each bone.

Step 4.

We will now begin drawing the finger like bones in a form to make the shape of a heart. Start with the very first two at the top then the other two branches just below it. As you can see they are larger than the ones at the top. Add detailing, then m

Step 5.

You will now draw in the other rib like branches, as well as the marking lines for each section of bone. Add texture to the surface of the bones as well.

Step 6.

Lastly, draw out the rest of the bones but this time draw them on a downward angle. Sketch in the last but of detailing, then begin erasing the mistakes.

Step 7.

Here is your line art now that you are all done. Color in your work, then use it for your personal needs.

Description: Here is a tutorial that I have really been wanting to submit. I love how it came out as well as how I stumbled on the idea for this lesson. There is another tut coming your way that I actually made before this one. The idea came to me when I uploaded the last step for the drawing yet to come. I wanted to make a bare boned heart that represented how vulnerable we are as human beings when it comes to trusting people and their love. Of course everyone knows how ones self loves, and because of this we fail to see what another feels because all your emotions and how you perceive your better half should be stems from the way you are. If you know that you are a loyal person, you obviously expect your opposite to be the same. Anyways, this tutorial is "how to draw a skeleton heart tattoo", step by step. This is one of my favorite heart designs which means I will be infatuated with the concept for about a week. I have more cool stuff that will be hitting you in the face so stay tuned in.
