Draw a circle for the head then draw a bean shape for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines then proceed to step two.

2

Now you will need to draw out the shape of the french bulldog's face and head. As you can see the jowls for the dog are shaped like a heart. The head is almost like an upside down U.

3

Next, draw the large bat style ears as well as add all the texture detailing inside. Even though the ears stand up, they are not as stiff as German Shepherd ears, they are sort of wobbly. Draw the chin and bottom jowls as well as some chin whiskers.

5

Draw the shape of the dog's neck which is really wide. The folded creases on the back part of the neck. Draw the chest which should give this bulldog a proud look. Draw in the top part of the leg, then move to step six.

6

You will now draw out the rest of the legs. As you can see they are short, stubby and really wide. Sketch in the texture of the dog's coat on the legs, as well as all five toes and all of the nails on each paw.

7

Here you will draw out the rest of the dog's body, followed by the back leg and paw. You can also sketch in the wrinkles or folds on the body as well as the texture to the dog's skin.

8

Lastly, draw in the other back leg and paw, then erase the mistakes you made.

9

Description: If there's a dog that resembles a pug, it's got to be the French Bulldog. These guys are like chihuahua versions of American Bulldogs, just without all those cute rolls. In this cool tutorial, I will give you steps on "how to draw a French Bulldog", step by step. These guys are so pudgy and adorable. Though I've never owned one or seen one in person, I can tell you that they're probably hard to stop adoring! Do you own one of these dogs? If so, how do you like the breed? Smaller dogs are easier to carry around and clean up after. I'm not exactly sure how big these guys get either. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy this fun lesson! I tried to make the style a little different and semi-realistic so y'all don't have to sketch down a cartoony one! Thanks for viewing and stay tuned for more tuts.
