How to Draw a Simple Skull

Step 1.


Start off with a circle for the head or skull guide and then the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Beginning on the left side, we will draw out the bony brow for the skull as well as the hollow of the eye. Add some detailing to the bone structure as well.

Step 3.


You will repeat the very same task as you did in step two for the right side.

Step 4.


Now below the center of the eyes draw out the nasal cavity for the nose area and sketch in detailing to it as well.

Step 5.


You can now draw the upper jaw which is some sharp, skeletal teeth.

Step 6.


Draw in the dome of the head, add some definition to the bone texture as well.

Step 7.


Lastly, color in the sockets.

Step 8.


And there you have it, a simple, attractive skull that you can have fun with this Halloween or any day of the week.

Today I will be showing you how to draw a simple skull, step by step. This skull can be used to make some really cool Halloween decor and you can even print out the skull line art to use on a big pumpkin for carving.
