How to Draw a Really Pretty Flower

Make a circle for the center of the flower like so.

For the second step, we will be drawing the first few layers of petals like you see here. They all have notches at the base as you can see here.

Here you will draw in the next layer of flower petals and be sure that you make them the same way you did the first set.

Here we will draw in the whole top area of the flower. This will start adding balance and fluff to your really pretty flower.

Add some more petals. Only a few but you can actually add more if you are comfortable doing so.

Add some more petals like so and then proceed to step seven.

Lastly, finish the flower off by drawing the last of the petals. You can erase all the mistakes and you are done.

Here is the line art people. Now you can color in your flower to make it really pretty.

Description: I don't know if you guys can tell, but I attempted to color in this flower to look like a really pretty flower for this lesson. One of my favorite movies lately has been 'Blue Jasmine' and because of the name of the film, I wanted to make a tutorial based on a really pretty flower like the night blooming jasmine. Now I know that my flower looks nothing like the night blooming jasmine, I was going for a really pretty flower design, but in the end I think the coloring makes it look more like a flower that is part of a galaxy. Even though the concept isn't quite what I wanted, I still think that the flower is beautiful and you will have fun replicating its beauty in your own drawing. I do have some cool stuff coming your way so stay tuned in to see what's next.
