How to Draw a Longhorn Head Skull

Step 1.


Okay start off this step by drawing out some simple shapes and guidelines to form a frame for the longhorn head. Start with a circle for the top of the skull and then draw an oblong squared shape for the muzzle or snout bones of the steers skull. Onc   

Step 2.


Now the first thing you will do in this step is add more shape top the horns by thickening them up as you see here. All you do is add a parallel line to make them a bit bolder. Next move down and start sketching out the actual shape of the boney look   

Step 3.


Now that you have accomplished steps one and two, you will start again at the top of the skull and draw another curled parallel line to add shape and dimension to the horns. You will then sketch out the boney brow lines and then make an opening for t   

Step 4.


Now that you have made it to the fourth step, you are that much closer to accomplishing the finish line. You will now add more detail and definition to the skull by adding cracking lines on the forehead, on the snout, and around the eye holes. Once t   

Step 5.


Well kiddies you have made it to your final drawing step and all you will have to do is add some more crack detailing lines on top of the longhorns head and add some more beads at the top of the string. Detail the feather a bit and then start erasing   

Step 6.


Now once you are done your drawing should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do now is add your own colors to complete this tutorial on how to draw a longhorn head skull step by step.

This steer skull is often seen in art sometimes combined with dreamcatchers, or feathers commonly used by Native Americans. I figured that this would make a cool tutorial to do because there are many artist and members that love this kind of thing. This steer head is very simple to draw and you can add any kind of décor you would like to make it your own.
