How to Draw Tinkerbell

1

First draw a circle for her nicely shaped head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the Tinkerbell's body lines of position as you see here which is for the shoulders, arms, torso, hips, and legs.

2

As you can see the body frame is nicely done and what I want you guys to do now is start sketching in her face and her pretty hair bangs. Start with her eyes and as you can see they are thick on top for her lashes and then thin out for her under eye.

3

Okay, sketch out the shape of the rest of Tikerbell's hair (at least for the top of her head) and then finish drawing out her eyes and eyebrows. Add a hint of a nose and start the lining for her mouth. Draw the long line for her wing and then beginni

4

Now we can make the lining for her dress and also give her shape around the waste. Once that is done you can finish the shape of Tinkerbell's pretty wings and then her mouth. Draw out her bun on top of her head and then move to the next step.

5

Now what I want you guys to do now is sketch out the shape of her right arm and small hand and then finish off drawing out the lower half of her dress. Once that is complete Draw her left arm and hand as well as the straight shape for her wand.

6

Finish her left arm and hand, and then draw out her legs or the beginning lines of them. Your next step will be you last drawing step, what you should do before you leave this step is start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you no longer need.

7

Draw the back part of Tinkerbell's legs and then draw her small feet. Erase the rest of the guidelines and shapes and then move to the last step to see what your sketch should come out looking like.

8

And there you have it your very own Tinkerbell. Easy right? At this point there isn't nothing left to do except color her in. AWW... isn't she beautiful. Good Job! I hope you guys had fun learning "how to draw Tinkerbell step by step"

Description: Tinkerbell is a little fairy that came from a play from J.M. Barrie’s Peter and Wendy, which also was a novel as well. Tinkerbell is a fairy that hung around Peter every where he went. Even though she seemed vindictive, at times she was indeed helpful and kind to her Peter. Peter rarely called her “Tinkerbell” instead he called her “Tink”. Anyone that either read or watched Peter Pan knew that she had strong feelings for Peter. I personally love Tinkerbell. I think she is adorable, which is why I decided to make a tutorial on "how to draw Tinkerbell". In this tutorial I show you how easy and fun drawing fairies really is. Any cartoon character is relatively easy to draw once you know the steps behind the sketch. I used Photoshop for my drawing. I use Photoshop a lot since I’m on the computer all day. The only time I hand sketch is when I’m traveling, or when I’m lounging around. I always have a sketch pad and pencil with me even if I’m just sitting on my couch. I find a lot of good ideas for new characters when watching TV. I like to experiment a lot by mixing qualities from different types of people, monsters, or cartoons. In time I will upload some more tutorials I have. But for now here is my version of Tinkerbell. I don’t consider myself a great artist, but I think I’m good enough to help someone out with a tutorial on "how to draw Tinkerbell, step by step".
