Description: Here is the deal, I wanted to do another cool drawing that was on some type of warrior but I didn’t want it to be on another male figure. After brain storming for a few minutes I came up with the idea to draw a ninja that was cool and in an action pose. After the idea pasted I realized that a plain old ninja is not what I wanted to draw. That’s when I thought of making a female version of a ninja, but what would I call it? I looked for information on the different types of ninja, and I also was searching to see if there were in fact female assassins that had their own label or name. I found it; I was going to make a tutorial on "how to draw a Kunoichi", step by step. Kunoichi are female ninjas that where trained to defeat samurai. Unlike a regular male ninja, the Kunoichi where trained and skilled in areas that males could not be trained in. For instance, female ninja have special skills and traits such as psychological techniques which enable the Kunoichi to use skills like manipulation, female character disguise, an abundance of charisma and charm, and even local thinking made these woman very dangerous. Now when you think of a woman, they are more or less compared to the feline. The type of weaponry that the Kunoichi use is called neko-te or, in our language, the cat claw. The cat claw or paw is equipped with sharp blades or sometimes pins that stick out. An original neko-te where almost like metal gloves that fit over the entire hand. There is a metal plate that covers the back of the hand that is covered with pins. These pins where used for entrapment of other weapons or to cause minimal damage. Now the claws on the other hand are used for stabbing, and the main areas that a Kunoichi would aim for are the main arteries and other areas that would cause almost certain fatal death. If you think about it, these women are pretty darn lethal. This lesson is going to be awesome for you because the female ninja I drew is what your typical anime Kunoichi looks like. You will learn "how to draw a Kunoichi" with certain ease. There may be some hurdles along the way but I’m sure you will do just fine.
