How to Draw a Zombie Ninja, Zombie Ninja

Step 1.


Like any lesson you tackle on a figure, you will begin the first step the same way. Make a circle for the head and then draw in the guidelines for the body and one for the face.

Step 2.


For the next step you will start sketching out the actual shape of the head and face structure. Since this is a zombie that used to be human, I decided to make the head in skeletal form. Draw out the open area that exposes the eyes only. The head is   

Step 3.


Using the one face guide, draw out the hollow eyes, and the nose too. Color in the eye sockets, and then sketch in the brow bones which is giving this zombie ninja a sinister stare. Sketch in the detailing on the face, and on the top and sides parts    

Step 4.


For this step you will need to draw in the shoulders or shoulder pads first. The gi that this ninja is wearing is sort of like a samurai. Once the shoulders are drawn, you can sketch out the arm, hand, and then draw in the crinkled up guts that he is   

Step 5.


Okay, this is probably the least complex step of the whole tutorial. Draw out the waist, and then draw in the legs. Add the lining on the right leg which is going to be for the exposed flesh.

Step 6.


You are almost done with this tutorial. Draw the right arm and make sure that the fish is closed. Sketch in the sword that is resting on the left leg, and then add all the neat cuts, gashes, wounds, and bones. Add detailing to the clothes and you're    

Step 7.


For the last step, all you have to do is draw out the tie that is knotted in the back, and then draw out the skeletal foot. The bones should be exposed like you see here. Erase the guides, mistakes, and tweak the drawing to perfection.

Step 8.


You are all done. I know this might have been a hard lesson for some of you, but if you took your time and followed the steps you should end up with a sketch that looks just like, or similar to the drawing you see here. Color in your zombie ninja bef

Description: This has got to be one of my favorite zombie figures thus far. Instead of making another animal in zombie form, I decided that conjuring something up that was not only cool, but awesome would really make heads turn and people scream. So today I will show you "how to draw a zombie ninja", step by step. I know you guys freaked yesterday during Live stream when I was making the ninja. A lot of you guys wanted this to be a tutorial and so it shall. Unlike the animal zombies, this ninja is a bit more gruesome and a lot more detailed. Beginning artists that want to tackle this tutorial may find it hard to do so because it is kind of geared towards intermediate and advanced skill levels. That doesn’t mean that anyone who is a novice artist should shy away from this zombie ninja, it just means if you decided to tackle this project, be sure that you have time, patience, and most importantly a good eraser because you may be making plenty of mistakes. I want to thank everyone that joined me yesterday for Live, and I also want to thank those who gave or always give suggestions whenever I draw something new.
