How to Draw a Heart Grenade

You will first need to draw a heart, then proceed to step two.

For the first top half of the heart shape you will color in four sections. The first two are the largest and they are the humps of the heart. Draw and color in the end pieces as well.

Next, draw in more of the sections with spaces between each section. The shapes have to be angled for the round pop out effect.

More layers are needed like so, then color in the shapes.

Almost done people. For this step all you have to do is draw in four more shapes this time in smaller sizes. Color in the blocks and you are done here.

Draw and color in the tip of the heart shape like so.

That's it you are all done. Now you can draw in the detonator, as well as the pin which is shaped like a ring. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

Here is the heart grenade when you are all done. Color it in a different shade if you like.

Description: Some of you may mistake this drawing concept with the logo design for Green Day. It is in fact similar, but this one is more detailed and drawn a bit differently. Up next we will learn "how to draw a heart grenade", step by step. Heart Grenades are awesome concept pieces that folks like to get tattoos of as well as have an awesome time drawing them on paper of all kinds including book covers and notebooks. Even though I don't listen to Green Day that much anymore, sometimes a bands symbol make a great object for inspirational art. Also, someone asked if I could make a tut on drawing a Heart Grenade.
