How to Draw Courage, Courage the Cowardly Dog

Begin with a head shape and body guide followed by the facial guidelines.

Using the shape you just made, draw in the head, snout and nose. Next, draw the large oval shaped eyes, then his eyebrows.

Here you will draw the lips or jowls for the dog followed by the cheek and mouth. Draw in his teeth, then draw the small skinny ears.

Okay guys you are almost done. Color in the pupils, then draw the whisker holes on his face along with some stubs of whisker hair.

Draw in Courage's body or just define the shape that is already there. You will also need to draw the arms and three fingered hands or paws as well as his scruffy tail.

End this step by drawing the legs and star like feet. Add the spot, then his chin. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

Description: Guess what, Courage the Cowardly Dog is coming back to Cartoon Network! I am so excited because I really love this cartoon. Courage was one of my favorite characters back in the day, but when they cancelled the series, I was so upset. I think they cancelled it because they felt it was too dark for children. But now there is cartoons like Adventure Time, and Regular Show which falls in the same alley as Courage. To celebrate the whole new series I wanted to make an updated drawing lesson on "how to draw Courage the Cowardly Dog", step by step. I know you will have fun because he is a dog that is loved everywhere. Adios people!
