How to Draw a Garden
1
First draw the background lining which is the squared off shrubs that make up the shape of the maze your garden is in. Next, add a circle fro the tree top, and then draw the guidelines for the trunk, walking path, and flowers.
2
Now you will start sketching out the shape of the tree, the straight lined trees in the background, and the bushes below the tree as you see here. Next add a few tulips or other flowers of your choice to add beauty.
3
The entrance to the garden needs to be drawn out next. This can be done by drawing a square entry way that is cut through the high bush in the background. Next sketch out more of the shrubs that line the walkway, and then draw the trail cement markin
4
Sketch out the tree trunk and all the branches that flow inside of the tree top foliage. Next draw flowers in front of your bushes to add color, and variety to your beautiful garden.
5
For your last drawing step all you have to do is spruce up the grass or lawn and add some dandelions too. When that is taken care of you can then finish off your tree top design, and then draw your water fountain. I drew a bird fountain, but you can

Description: Yup, drawing landscapes has become somewhat of an official project of mine for the past few months. Even though I haven’t uploaded a whole lot of landscape scenes, I have worked on quite a few in my sketch pad and I have to say, they have been coming out very nice. When I first started I wanted to teach myself "how to draw a garden". So what I did was, sketch out a scenery that was absolutely simple in every way, shape, and form. The first sketch is what I am uploading now. I just recreated the same drawing from my sketch book, and drew it on my tablet using my Photoshop program. As you can tell this will be a very simple lesson to replicate and I purposely drew out the garden to have a cartoon feel so that you too will get some good, fun practice before attempting to draw something more skillful. Gardens are probably one of the most beautiful landscapes to admire, and as you see in this design I drew a garden that takes place in the middle of a maze. Everything that you could imagine a garden would have I’ve included in this sketch. There is a full blooming tree, a very clean looking footpath that is outlined with small bushes that have flowers of tulips embedded inside, some sporadic flowers that graze the trim cut lawn, and a cute bird fountain that adds tranquility and peace to the landscape. This is truly a fun piece of art to draw, and the best thing is, you can go crazy and use your imagination to the fullest. Learning how to make a garden is a really fun drawing activity because there is a bunch of designing involved as well as laying out the types of colors you will use for the different flowers that gardens are known for. Take your time with this tutorial because you want to make sure that you learn "how to draw a garden" the right way, instead of hacking through the lesson just to get it done. Bon Voyage for now one and all, and happy drawing!
