How to Draw a Dragons Head

Make the head guide like so, then draw in the neck guidelines.

You will now begin drawing the dragon's face starting with the forehead. Move down to drawing the snout. As you can see there are crinkles.

Continue to work on the face by drawing the rest of the snout and then the jaw. Add the horns and then proceed to step four.

Draw in the closed mouth by adding all of the teeth. The eye should also be drawn in as well as the nostril. Add detailing to the lip too.

We will move on further as we draw the neck, and the fiery spine down the back. Take your time so you end up with something neat and clean.

We are all done with drawing the dragon's head and neck. Now you can sketch in the scales and more detailing to the spine.

Lastly, draw the tail as it whips around the head. Add the spines and then you can finish off this concept. Erase the mistakes and all the guidelines.

Description: Here is a simple and easy lesson that will show you how to draw a dragon's head, step by step. I wanted to add another dragon tutorial because I know folks love drawing dragons no matter what kind of dragon it may be. There really isn't too much to say about this lesson because it's just another dragon. I will be back with some other tuts, but in the meantime enjoy drawing this dragons head.
