How to Draw a Dragon Slayer

Step 1.


Let's draw the basic guidelines for each character. Start with the heads and body guides, then draw in the guidelines for the face and wings.

Step 2.


You can now start forming the head, neck, chest and wings.

Step 3.


Next form the back, tail and then draw in the frills on the back of the neck. Add some scales on the body and then draw the eye, teeth and tongue.

Step 4.


Finish drawing the dragon wings, then draw in the first leg and foot.

Step 5.


We will now draw in the female dragon slayer. Start by defining the shape of her face, and then draw in her long, wavy hair which is blowing in the breeze.

Step 6.


Use the facial guidelines and then draw the big eyes and mouth. Add thick lining for the lids and lashes.

Step 7.


Draw the arm and body, then draw in her rounded shield, and her sword.

Step 8.


Add detailing to the shield and then draw the legs and feet. Add detailing to the dress too.

Step 9.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the flame coming from the dragon onto the slayer's shield. You will also need to draw in the other leg and foot. Erase your mistakes and the guidelines/shapes.

Step 10.


Here is the line art when you are all done. Now just have some good fun coloring in your dragon slayer.

Description: This is such a cute lesson and I can't wait for everyone to tackle it. I know I have a tutorial on how to draw a dragon slayer, but I was in the mood to make another version in a much easier to tackle format with the slayer being a girl. The colors, characters and setting is all so perfect. I came to love this drawing so much, that I really wanted to get it uploaded to the site today. So go ahead and have some fun drawing dragons in the form of a dragon being slain by a female slayer. Adios people and enjoy.
