How to Draw a Cartoon Hipster

Step 1.


Now you want to draw some basic lines. The circle is the head(duh)and the line running through it is almost like a line of symmetry(divides the face into four quadrants. The lines beneath the head are for the shoulders, waist, and hips.

Step 2.


Now let's set the guidelines for the limbs. I draw circles at the joints to do so.

Step 3.


Now I do the figure, face shape, and the hands. Since this is just a cartoon, the hands are more rounded.

Step 4.


Now I'd start to draw the facial features and hair(a.k.a. vanity lol). Like I had said before, this is a cartoon, so certain features are exaggerated(I.E. the volume in the hair).

Step 5.


CLOTHING TIME! Basically, draw creases in the clothing where it would bunch up when worn by someone. Mental visualization usually, however, you can base it on what you've observed on people ^^ It's okay to be a creeper, you're an artist C:

Now it's time for the finishing touches! Considering this is a hipster, the glasses are the icing on the cake!

Description: lol I have nothing against hipsters, considering that I, myself am one. Don't be hatin'. For those who don't understand, hipsters are people who dislike mainstream music and pop culture and wear vintage(almost hippie-esque)clothing. I'm not a hard-core hipster, but some of my best friends are. Anywho, this is just a little something-something I put together to make up for hiatus. Enjoy C:
