How to Draw a Butterfly Fairy, Butterfly Fairy Tattoo

Step 1.


Start off by drawing the shape of the fairy's head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


The butterfly fairy has a face shaped like a heart, so you will draw in that type of face.

Step 3.


This butterfly fairy has closed eyes as she sits in serenity. Using the facial guidelines draw out the shapes of her eyes, then draw in the thick but thin shaped eyebrows. Next, add the nose and simple shaped mouth, followed by the full set of eye la   

Step 4.


In this step you will need to draw in the fiery wave for her hairstyle. When that simple task is done you will draw in her ears, then sketch in the detailing inside of her ears.

Step 5.


Next, draw the shape of her long neck, then move to step six.

Step 6.


This is the last drawing step. What you will need to do first is erase the guidelines. When that is done begin drawing butterflies of all shapes and sizes flying around her face and head, and coming from her face and head. Take your time so it all co

Description: Drawing fantasy comes easy to me because fantasy creatures and figures are some of the things I started out drawing when I was younger. For some reason I was inspired to make a lesson on a fairy that I don't think I've done before. Here is "how to draw a butterfly fairy", step by step. The fiery colored concept is filled with glitter and magic. I really wanted to bring the essence of this fairy to life which is why I chose to color her in a bright flaming style. The butterflies surround this fairy because this is the power that she is omitting. I really love the way that this drawing came out, so much so it's one of my favorite fairy drawings I have made in a while.
