How to Draw a Baby Monkey

Draw the head shape, sketch in the facial guidelines too.

Up next, sketch out the shape of the monkey's face, then sketch in the hairline and curl. Detail the hair too.

Starts the eyes. Draw the thick layer of skin above the eyes to form an arched look. Sketch out the eyes, then move to step four.

Add some lashes, and then sketch in some creases under each eye. Add the empty spotted shapes inside the eyes for the doe look. You can also add regular iris' with small black pupils.

Next up, sketch out the heart shaped nose, color in some large nostrils, then add the frown lines and make a smile for this monkey. Sketch in some hair along the jaw line too.

You will add some hair to form the shape of the head. Add the part line down the center of the head, then add some small curls along the edge of the hair.

Next up, draw the flower in her hair, then sketch in indents around the center of the flower.

Lastly, sketch in the torso in the form of a tee-shirt. The shirt should be baggy and loose fitting. Erase all the mistakes and guides too.

This is the line art when you are all done. Now add some color and finish it all off.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but back in the mid eighties there was these toys that resembled a combination between a monkey and a human. They where called Monchichi's and they where so cute.
