How to Draw a Baby Deer, Baby Deer
1
Begin by drawing two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. You will then add a neck line like so to connect the two shapes.
2
Using the circle you drew in step one, begin sketching out the actual structure of the baby deer's head, face and ears. Notice how the ears look oversized for the narrow shaped face.
3
Next, draw in the big almond shaped eyes, and then draw in the lashes as well. Color in the eyes solid, and then draw the nose, and ear tissue detailing.
4
Make the shape of the neck, and then draw in the frail looking front legs and small hooves. Add the separation line from the hoof to leg like so, and then add some detailing to the inner leg and chest.
5
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the rest of the body which as you can see this baby deer is in a laying pose to suggest that it is a newborn. Draw the hind leg, and hoof, and then sketch in the bushy tail. Erase the mistakes

Description: Hey guys, I’m back with that tutorial I said I was going to submit yesterday, but I didn't get it finished in time to upload the lesson in a timely fashion. So here it is, today you will learn "how to draw a baby deer", step by step. I know that baby deer are called fawns, but in all reality I just wanted to name this tutorial a common phrase that will enable kids to find what they search for on the site. I don’t know how many people type in ‘fawn’ when they are looking for an adolescent deer, so I played it safe and just went with baby. The deer actually came out really cute and I love the way how I combined that cartoon effect in a realistic manner. I had a lot of fun drawing a baby deer because I always wanted to draw a version that looked as cute as Bambi. Well, I guess that’s it. I have some more tutorials going up a bit later, but for now you can have fun with this lesson. Make sure that you rate and comment to let me know if you liked this baby deer or fawn. I shall return, adios and enjoy!
