Here you will begin drawing out the actual shape of the baby orangutan's face structure, and incorporate the shapes of the ears a well.
3
Using the facial guidelines that you sketched in during step one, begin drawing small circles for the baby's eyes. Thicken the eye shapes and then slowly sketch in the crease, or wrinkles under each eye as well as an eyelid. Make the separation line

You are all done with the head and face which means you can move onto getting the body drawn out. Start under the chin and begin drawing the long, thick arms. Be sure that the lining is hairy, because as I said before, orangutans are hairy apes.

Finish drawing the body starting with the rest of the chest and stomach, and then draw in the other hind leg. Sketch in some hair texture detailing like so, and move along to step eight.

Description: There are so many different baby animals that are incredibly adorable and very easy to fall in love with just by their looks alone. Today I will be showing you guys "how to draw a baby orangutan", step by step. These adorable little apes have the cutest faces when it comes to baby appeal. This species of ape mainly live in trees, and get around by swinging from tree to tree using branches and their long arms. Now because these little guys live in Southeast Asia, more and more of their habitat is being destroyed which means the orangutan is close to being an endangered species. All orangutans are covered with reddish brown hair, and they have very distinct features. Another interesting fact about orangutans is how they actually use objects they find in the forest as tools to crack open shelled nuts, they also use oversized leaves as cups for gathering, and drinking water as well as umbrella’s to keep them dry. Despite what we think of apes, this species are very intelligent, and it has been proven over and over again that they are more like humans than we think. I hope you enjoy drawing a baby orangutan, because I had so much fun drawing it out. I shall return with more drawing fun so stay tuned in to see what else pops up. Peace out people!
