Flower Girl Art, How to Draw
1
You will begin by drawing the guidelines and shapes for the head and face as well as for the flower below the chin or jawline.
2
Beginning with the face, use the guidelines to draw the profile of the girl's face starting with the forehead. Proceed to draw the nose and then lips, chin and mouth line.
3
We will fill the empty space by drawing the girl's hairstyle which is combed over and straight. Be sure to draw the part in her hair and make the back of the hair flow down her face as seen here.
4
We will simply add some detailing or strand lines to her hair. When that is done go ahead and draw in her ear as well. I wanted a more fantasy look so I added a small point at the tip of the ear.
5
We will draw in her face which is in a sad expression. Start with the eye. The lashes should be thick and then draw the eyebrow. When that is done you can draw in her cheek and then some of the jaw line.
6
We will begin to draw the flower. This can be any flower of your choice, but I went with a simple lily style flower.
7
Go ahead and draw in more flower petals like you see here and you will also need to detail and define the flowers as well.
8
You will now draw in more of her hair and then some falling petals for this flower girl. Erase the mistakes and guidelines when you are done.

Description: Here is another very pretty lesson on how I feel a flower child would look but with a pale, fantasy style twist. I love the colors in this lesson and I am happy with the tutorial overall. Today, I will show you how to draw a flower child, step by step. This is a very simple profile style lesson that artists of all levels can tackle and complete successfully. The most complicated part of this tut would have to be the flower and hair, but the complexity vares for everyone. I have an exciting tutorial week coming up so you don't want to miss out on all the lessons that will be going up. So if you like seeing submissions from me, then be sure to come back everyday to see what new lesson I've uploaded. For now have fun with drawing a flower child.
