Drawing a Country Girl

Step 1.


This is going to be a complicated lesson to tackle if you are someone who is a novice artist or have trouble with drawing people. To start, we will begin drawing the guidelines for the body of the female, then draw a straight slanted line for the tai   

Step 2.


Here you will slowly start to sketch out the shape of the girl's face. Notice that the face is on an angle or 3/4 view. The left part of the forehead, cheek and chin should be sketched out. Take your time because this is a complicated step. Once you    

Step 3.


Begin sketching out her hair. I went with long wavy locks, but if you want to make her more personal, go ahead and draw any hairstyle. Add the detailing to the hair, but don't start at the top of the head because that blank area will be filled with a   

Step 4.


Like I said, go ahead and sketch in the ball cap that she is wearing. A lot of the country girls in my area wear hats. Wether they be of baseball or football teams, but mostly they are camo style with deers or John Deere logos on them.

Step 5.


All you have to do here is draw in this country girl's arms which are resting on the tailgate (not yet drawn). When that is done you will need to draw in the dimples to her elbows and then draw some of the hands.

Step 6.


Like the description says, you will be drawing the tailgate of the truck. She is sitting on the tailgate but the tailgate is up in place instead of being drawn down. Go ahead and get started until you are finished with this task

Step 7.


Continue the task of drawing out this country girl's body. We will start at the top and draw her upper body and chest. She is wearing a half tee so be sure to draw in the lining in a ripped or tattered style. Once that is done go ahead and draw her b   

Step 8.


Add the minor detailing to the back part of her body under the hair and then begin erasing the mistakes and visible guidelines.

Step 9.


That's it. You are all done. Now you can color in your country girl and don't forget to add a background too. Upload your finished drawing so I can check out how you did.

Description: Well, here is a lesson you don't see everyday. Today I will be showing you all how to draw a country girl, step by step. he inspiration from the fact that I, myself live in the country and I am surrounded by females that love three things; trucks, wheeling and bonfires. So, because of this I thought it would be cute to make this lesson on a typical looking country girl from where I live sitting on the tailgate of a pickup truck, surrounded by woods, fire and junk tires. I love how this concept came out and I am super excited to show you all how to create your own country girl. Of course you can customize the girl to look like yourself or someone you know, or you can just keep the concept as is.
