Drawing a Fallen Angel
2
Using the guidelines you can draw the shoulders, some of the neck and then draw the back shape which is in a limped over pose.
3
Here you will draw in the head, but as you can see the head is covered with the angel's long flowing hair. Add the hairline that lines the back of the neck as well.
4
Lastly for this lesson you will draw the the wings, but since the wings have been painfully falling off the wings are super small. Erase the mistakes and guides when you're done.

Description: One concept that I love drawing is the concept of falling angels. I wanted to create an angel that has fallen but instead of a front view, I thought the expressive back side of the angel would make a cool or really nice lesson. Here is how to draw a fallen angel, step by step from the back view. You don't need to see this angel's face to know that he is in pain and anguish for being thrown out of the Kingdom of Heaven. The wings are bleeding because they are about to fall off as he will no longer be accepted into the gates of Heaven. I really did enjoy drawing this fallen angel and I know that others will too. So go ahead and get started and I will prepare my next lesson.
