Drawing a Cartoon Dragon

go ahead and start drawing out the guidelines and shapes to draw your dragon. This should include the head and body as well as the neck and tail.

Using the guides, go ahead and start drawing the head, snout and nostril flares. You will then draw the structure to the dragon's facial detailing and structure.

We will now draw in the shapes of the eyes. Then draw the brows, color in the pupils and then draw the dragon teeth and then the tongue. Define the face and add some scaling as well.

We are almost done with drawing the cartoon dragon's face. We will now add the dragon horns and then the dragon's bone like frills. Detail them and then proceed to the next drawing step.

Now we will begin drawing the dragon body and then the neck. Draw the wings and legs as well.

Continue to work on the body by drawing the front part of the neck and then flow down to the chest. Draw in the two front legs and then the claws. Add swirls on the knees and then draw in some muscle definition.

Draw the belly, back leg and foot then the tail which is sort of hidden behind the tail. Don't forget that swirl on the knee.

Last drawing step should be pretty simple. Draw the separation line on the neck and then some scales. You will also detail the wings and then draw in the fire. Erase the mistakes and all the guidelines that you made.

That's it, you are all done. Go ahead and have some good fun with coloring in your cartoon dragon and also give it a background image as well.

It is colored and drawn to look like a stubby beast with purple hues and breathing fire. Anyways, I just wanted to upload a new tut.
