Step 2.
Begin with the head and start to draw out the snout which is short and then draw the shape of the mouth, cheeks and the horns as well. Notice the frills or spikes on the sides of the face.

Step 3.
We will draw one fully viewable eye with layers of design to add a more dramatic affect. Once that is done add detailing to the snout and then draw the hint of the other eye.

Step 4.
All you have to do here is draw the shape of the small dragon's neck like so. It looks twisted because of the line that flows down the middle of the neck in an off style.

Step 9.
And now just draw in the hair on the head of the dragon and then the smoke coming out from the small dragon's nose. Erase the mistakes if you made any at all and then erase the guides if they are visible.

Description:
There are so many styles and sizes that you can draw dragons by, but not many will show you how to draw a small dragon, step by step. I don't know why there are not specific tutorials out there that have that title to make drawing a small dragon less complicated and easy to find. This lesson will show you how easy it is to draw a small dragon because I make the lesson on a profile view so it shouldn't be too complicated for those of you who like drawing dragons . The colors I chose for this drawing is sort of like a pastel teal and a fluorescent pink. I wanted to switch up the colors to add some pop and excitement. Anyways, I have a few more lessons to upload, but I don't know if I want to do that today or tomorrow. I guess you will have to stick around or come back around to see if I did go ahead and submit the rest of the lessons. For now have fun drawing this small dragon.
