Draw a Christmas Chinese Dragon

Step 1.


Okay folks. We will start by drawing the shapes and guidelines for our Christmas dragon. As you can see I made the guides in sections so you can easily draw a Christmas dragon too.

Step 2.


Using the head guide shape, begin drawing the muzzle for the dragon. This is a very friendly dragon so be sure to give her a smile. Add some teeth, cheeks, and eyes.

Step 3.


Next, we will draw the Santa style hat followed by the horns,

Step 4.


Add some Christmas decorations on the horn like lights and a jingle bell. When that is done you can draw the dragon's chest and some of the arm.

Step 5.


Continue to work on the dragon arms. When they are done you can draw the talons or toes. Lastly for this step, draw the line of the body motion for the dragon's back arch and tail.

Step 6.


We will draw the belly, back leg and foot, then complete the shape of the tail. The tip of the tail will be drawn in the next step.

Step 7.


Finish everything off by drawing the very fluffy or hairy tail top and then the whiskers and hair down the back of the dragon's neck. Erase the mistakes and all the guidelines/shapes too.

Step 8.


Here you have it, a Christmas dragon all ready to color in. Don't forget to add some scales.
