Coyote Dreamcatcher Drawing

Step 1.


Make the circles for the head and body like so. Also add a guideline for the top part of the head.

Step 2.


Here you will draw the snout for your coyote. When that is done you can draw the open mouth.

Step 3.


You will now draw the nose, whisker holes and then the teeth. Up next, add the slit for the eye.

Step 4.


We will now draw the front part of the head and then draw in the ear which is posed back from the howl. When that is done sketch in the front part of the chest and then add all the detailing to the coat to make it look fluffy.

Step 5.


You will now draw the ring around the coyote. This is the base of the dreamcatcher. Add the detailing to the ring and that's it.

Step 6.


We will add beads around the ring and then proceed to step seven.

Step 7.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the feathers. Add detailing to the feathers and then you are ready to erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 8.


When all is said and done the line art looks like the image you see here. Color in your coyote dreamcatcher and you are done.

Description: Since a lot of people liked the dreamcatcher drawings I uploaded, I thought I would go ahead and make more. So here is another spirit animal that Native Americans worship and that is the coyote. Today, we will draw a coyote dreamcatcher, step by step. I love the way this design came out. The howling coyote has a distinct look and even though the resemblance of the coyote looks like the wolf, you know this is a coyote just by the shape of the snout, and colors to the coat.
