Tree of Life Art

Let's start on the left side of the tree. Here you will draw in the curvy shape of the trunk and then draw in the branches as they scatter upwards. Also notice the left side shape of a heart.

We will do the exact same thing on the right side as we did on the left. There are four sets of branches and each one forks upward. Draw the shape of the heart as well as the rest of the trunk.

We will now draw the roots of the tree followed by the formation of the human heart. Add the detailing to the actual tree limbs which is the wood grain.

Draw the end or bottom half of the human heart. As you can see it is rounded just as a human heart would be shaped. Sketch in the bulging veins and then more detailing around the eyes of the tree.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the bushy tree top or the foliage for this tree of life. When that is done, you can erase the mistakes.

Here is the line art. As you know all you have to do is add some vibrant color or you can leave it as an inked drawing.

Description: I know I have done one in the past, but today I will be showing you once again how to draw the tree of life, but this time with a twist. Instead of a simple silhouette of the tree of life, I wanted to create something much more detailed. Here is my vision. As you can see the bush of the tree is clumped together like a tight group, the branches rise under the shade, there is a whole heart in the middle of the tree and then there is the human heart at the bottom where the roots stem from. This is a representation of us as people. Who we are inside and the life we live. We always take shelter within groups and find solace in the heart of hearts. I hope you love this depiction of the tree of life as I do. I do have a couple more tuts to upload so don't stray too far away.
