First, draw out some basic guidelines. The guidelines you draw for the body shouldn't be any bigger than five heads (or in this case, circles) tall.

Using the circle as a guide, draw in the hair. Urabe is known to have messy hair, so be creative with the tufts, as long as it doesn't detour too much form the basic circular shape. You can also mark in the shape of her chin and fringe. Remember, mos

Draw in her eye, eyelid and eyebrow, as well as her nose and mouth. Note, the top of her eye is firly straight, whereas the bottom is more rounded. You can also detail in the details of the hair by adding the reflections, which curve around her head,

Next, draw her collar, using the guidelines to map out her neck and shoulders. The simple V-neck decends about two fifths of the torso.

Next, draw in the shirt and necktie. The shirt tends to be starched, and therefore has less movement in it than the skirt and bow. Alos, note the way the shirt flares to give an indication of the female figure.

The skirt has a more flowing feel to it than the shirt, so, like the bow can move around more. Use your guidelines to map out the basics, then use zig zagging lines to show that it's loosely pleated.

The next step is to draw in the arms. I SUCK at drawing hands, so I am as lazy as possible when it comes to them. Being lazy, it makes it easier if one of the arms is behind the back, and the other is in a simple position. Draw the thumb and forefing

Add in two more of her fingers, fanning backwards slightly. Also, flesh out the guidelines for the legs, and add a simple line to add depth to the skirt.

Lastly, draw in her shoes and socks. I couldn't find a picture of Urabe's shoes, so here I've just done simple indicartions of shoes and socks.

Description: I haven't done any tutorials in donkeys, so I figured it was time for me to get back online, and do some more. I noticed that there are no MMGX tuts up yet, and seeing as it's also an anime now (entitled Nazo no Kanojo X), I should do one for one of the main characters, Urabe Mikoto.
