How to Draw the Green Tiger, Green Tiger From the Croods

1

You will start the first step with two shapes, one for the head, and another for the body. Draw in the limb guides as well as the facial guidelines too.

2

Begin sketching out the tiger's head shape or structure starting with the brow. From the brow begin forming the face. As you can see the face is fluffy so you have to show this with your line strokes. Draw in the ears, then add some fuzz at the top o

3

Let's start sketching out the face. Start with drawing out his eyes. They are very pioercing which means this cat means business. You will add some of the stripes on the forehead which crinkle up, then draw the snout or nose. You will make the lining

4

Sketch out the neck and chest. You will then draw out the arched shoulder blade then some of the front leg. His chest should be broad and very bold looking.

5

The head, face and chest for this beast is all done. We will work on getting the rest of the body sketched out. Start by finishing the legs and large paws. The toes should be sketched out followed by the claws.

6

Here you will draw out the back line which is on a slant or slop. Sketch in the stomach and back leg like so, followed by the back paw and claws. Draw the tail to finish this step.

7

Here all you have to do is draw out the other leg, then sketch in the claws. You are basically all done with this lesson. All you have to do now is erase the mistakes and add the stripes.

8

Here is how the tiger looks when you are all done. All that needs to be added now is some color. Remember, this tiger is made up of all the colors of the rainbow.

Description: All I can do is provide you with a lesson on the colorful cat that will be in Dreamworks new movie 'The Croods'. I really do wish I could tell you more about this character because he is obviously going to be an important figure in the film. From what I'm guessing, this multicolored saber-tooth cat is going to be the villain. His rainbow of colors makes him appear to belong in an Alice in Wonderland setting. He was great fun to recreate because of his odd look and character design. I keep saying "he" because that is what this character looks like to me, a boy. When there is more information out as to who this cat is, I will update the tutorial as soon as possible. In the mean time, just have fun drawing the green tiger from The Croods.
