How to Draw the Elf on the Shelf

Make a circle for the head and then sketch in the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the oblong shape for the body outline as well.

Define the face shape for Elf, then draw in the hairline that frames the face in a formidable manner.

Finish drawing the head, then move to step four.

You can proceed to drawing the simple shaped eyes, then draw the nose, mouth and eyebrows.

We will now draw the elf hat. When you do this make sure there is a puffy ring at the base of the hat like Santa wears.

Next, we will draw in some of the upper part of the torso. This shape looks like a diamond.

From the collar, you will draw out the one arm and then some of the torso shape. The arm should end with a rounded hand.

Draw in the thighs that are bent up, then move to step nine.

Okay, sketch in the other arm, and notice how the two rounded hands meet and touch. Add some crease marks under the pit, then give the arms some sleeves or cuff lines at the wrists.

Finish The Elf on the Shelf by drawing the rest of the body. This includes the butt, legs, and feet. Erase the mistakes.

Here is how Elf on the Shelf looks when you are done drawing him in. Add some color and now you have The Elf on the paper.

Description: Is our family fascinated with the little elf that sits on the shelf. Despite how classic this little guy looks like, he is actually a character that was created only three years ago. The whole tradition with The Elf on the Shelf, basically stems around a little elf that lingers around the houses of boys and girls. He is essentially a spy for Santa because during his stay with various families, he lets Santa know who has been naughty and nice. People who own The Elf on the Shelf often go through great lengths as they stage scenarios showing how the Elf blends into the home without being noticed by boys and girls. Anyways have fun drawing The Elf on the Shelf, I will finish uploading the other lessons on those anime One Direction boys.
