Elf On the Shelf Drawing Lesson

Simple start, draw some guides and shapes for the body of your elf on the shelf figure.

Okay, let us start drawing out the shape of your elf's face and be sure to draw in the bangs and detailing to the inside of the ears.

Use the facial guidelines to draw in the big bold eyes. Color in the pupils and then draw the nose, simple smile and curls cupped under each ear.

Okay, draw in the elf's hat, neck and ruffled collar. Take your time if you need to, you don't have to rush.

Continuing on with the body, draw the arms, torso, and legs. This elf on the shelf is in a sitting pose. This will make it easier for you to draw a shelf under his bottom.

Lastly, simply draw the hand and the sleeve cuff. Erase the mistakes if you made any along with the guides.

Here is the finished drawing when you are done. Just have some fun coloring in your creation of the elf on the shelf.

Description: Happy holidays everyone. I'm back with a festive tutorial that will leave folks wanting more. Now before you go judging the style of this Christmas figurine, I just want to say that I wanted to draw this character in a bright cartoon style. In all I'm very pleased how it came out and hopefully you do too. Anyways, here is my version of how to draw Elf on the Shelf, step by step cartoon style. He is sitting on a shelf with a snow globe on the side of him. Christmas is "the most wonderful time, of the year". Huh, anyways enjoy people and let me know what you think of this style of the Elf on the Shelf.
