How to Draw an Elf for Kids
1
Here all you have to do is start with the simple round shape of the head, and then draw out the squared body which is arched back a bit because of the action pose. When that is done don't forget to draw in the limb lines.
2
Draw out the shape of the face like so, and then draw in the hair line that will eventually frame the face. So far this is turning out to be a simple lesson right?
3
You will now start the process of getting the eyes, and eyebrows drawn out. The brows should be drawn to look long, and wispy. The eyes need to be drawn in to look big, and bright. Be sure to draw in the thick eyelashes and a small dot for the mouth.

Lets get more of her hair drawn out and as you can see it's not going to be a straight style. I decided that wavy locks would look best on this night elf. When you feel confident that the hair is drawn in properly, you can get the oblong shaped ears
5
This step is pretty simple because all you have to do is draw out a small ponytail in the back of her head. You can choose to go without one, but for me I like this style. Detail the inside of the ear before leaving this step.
6
Its now time that you get to work on the body. As you can see she is twisted in a pose where she is looking back over her shoulder. Draw the neck. shoulder, arms, and then her torso, waist, hips, and thighs. The lining for the pants should be a bit b

Draw in the other arm, and hand, and then you can draw out the daggers, or swords. I went with a curved or arched blade like a scimitar, but you can make tweaks for a different style blade if you like. Draw out the rest of her legs, and be sure to ad

Description: Since there is a brand new category in the ‘For Kids’ section, I will be uploading a brand new fantasy based tutorial, and it will show you "how to draw an elf for kids", step by step. I don’t care how old you are, drawing elves is always fun to do especially when you are bored out of your mind. These beings are probably one of the more popular, and loved species in the fantasy world. When I was beginning with my artistic passion, the four main things I drew almost all the time was fairies, dragons, elves, and mermaids. The elf is probably second in line on my top five favorites list because of WOW (World of Warcraft). I have been such a fan of the game for so long, that anything pertaining to an elf sparks my interest. Another reason why I wanted to show you all "how to draw an elf for kids", is because I know how important it is to create these beings from scratch. I didn’t follow books much when I was starting out. I always relied on myself and drew things my way. Hopefully this lesson will help ease the struggle a bit and enable you to learn how to do something totally new. I enjoyed making this figure, and if you’re looking at this description now, I know you will have a blast with drawing an elf for kids too.
