How to Draw Russel From Gorillaz

Step 1.


Make the shape for the head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Draw out the face in a defined style. Shape out the head when you do this too.

Step 3.


Next, we will draw in the ball cap which Russel wears backwards. Add the adjustable plastic strap, then add the stitching details along the hat as well.

Step 4.


Use the facial guidelines to draw in the rectangular thick shaped eyebrows like so. After that is done you can add the one forehead crinkle line.

Step 5.


Continue working on the face by drawing the sunken in eye shapes. Add some shading around the eyes and then draw in the nose.

Step 6.


You are almost done with drawing Russel from Gorillaz. Draw in the mouth and draw the teeth. Color inside the mouth and that is that.

Step 7.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the large ears and then draw the lid for the hat behind the left ear. Erase the guidelines and you are all done.

Step 8.


The line art looks like the drawing you see here. Color him in and that's it.
